ALL THAT JAZZ

 Jazz music was the sound of the 1920s social environment. The visual aspect of this era was dictated by the spontaneity and improvisational, edgy nature of Jazz music. It was the age of art, pleasure, and glamour… a visual feast of fringed dresses, tassels, feathered hair dresses, and extravagant jewelry. Modern-day fashion began in 1920. The women liberated themselves from Edwardian era corsets and heavy dresses switching to short hair and loose, drop-waisted dresses designed to move and dance, and with it came feminine confidence.

 The pandemic affected every aspect of our lives. We are all looking for some signs of livelihood and longing for unworried times of social life. My answer to this uncertainty is a positive one…It’s the reminiscence of the Jazz age manifested as a jewelry collection called “All That Jazz” inspired by the aesthetics of Art Deco and Jazz Age bringing back the lost dynamics, romanticism, and dazzle.
